Chunky Choc Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS

Oats 2 ½ cups

Plain Flour 2 cups, sifted

Salt ½ teaspoon

Baking Powder 1 teaspoon

Bicarb Soda 1 teaspoon

Butter 250g

White Sugar 1 cup

Brown Sugar 1 cup

Eggs 2

Vanilla Essence 1 teaspoon

Dark Choc-chips 1 ½ cups

METHOD

To begin... Preheat your InAlto oven to 180° C, allowing 15 minutes to heat up to temperature.

  1. Place the oats, flour, salt, baking powder and bicarb soda in a large mixing bowl and mix until combined.

  2. Cream the melted butter with both sugars, vanilla and eggs until smooth.

  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients together. Mix in the choc chips.

  4. Roll into balls the size of a golf ball and place onto a baking tray lined with baking paper at least 5cm apart. Bake for 10­­–12 minutes until just changing colour. Be careful not to overcook.

  5. Leave them on the tray for 10 minutes to cool down before cooling on a cooling rack.

Makes approximately 36 cookies.
